The Congress of South African Trade Union in the North West said they will be marching back to the Swartruggents toll gate today.

This is part of a programme by the union in fighting for the reduction of the toll and the extension of the radius up to Mafikeng and Brits.

Cosatu’s Provincial Secretary Solly Phetoe said it is the view of the union in the province that government wants to see us being unruly during all actions but we will not be ill-disciplined.

Phetoe said it is our view that our own government wants to see us being unruly during all our actions but we have refused to be ill-disciplined.

Phetoe said damaging property is not our game, but if that is what they want we request that they remove their toll gate and allow us to use our N4 road for free.

Phetoe said we demand to know what are we paying for that is so expensive. Why are we paying all the way from the expensive toll gate to the N1 road.

“All those tolls belong to one company our enemy Sanral Phetoe added.
