A 29-year-old man, Sibongiseni Mtshali was stabbed to death at Wembezi area on Monday.

A 29-year-old man, Sibongiseni Mtshali was stabbed to death at Wembezi area on Monday.
It is alleged that the victim
was asleep with his girlfriend at Zwelisha location, Wembezi when two suspects
attacked them in their sleep.
Major Thulani Zwane said the
suspects entered the door by force and demanded cash from the victims.
Zwane said they took R80.00
from the woman and they tried to raped her.
Zwane said one of the suspects
took out a knife and stabbed the Mtshali to his shoulder.
Zwane said the victim died
instantly as both suspects fled the scene on foot.
Zwane said the woman started
to scream requesting help from neighbours.
Zwane said the community
members chased the suspects and one of them was arrested and handed over to the
police.
Zwane said He will be charged
with murder, house robbery and attempted rape.
“The suspect will appear in
the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court soon Zwane added.
