A couple busted with dagga lab in Boksburg

Two suspects have been arrested in Boksburg following an operation with the Hawks which they discovered a sophisticated drug lab at their home. 

Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said upon searching the house police they found extensive crop growing inside a backroom and they also found processed marijuana that has already been harvested for sale.

Mulaudzi said we managed to confiscate about 72 plants of dagga, a couple aged between 57 years and 50 years were arrested for this incident.

“We are still investigating whether there were other people involved in this illegal operation; the couple is in police custody as we speak and will appear in court soon” Mulaudzi added.
