NSRI rescues a 32 year old man in Saldanha Bay

The National Sea Rescue Institute in Saldanha Bay rescued a 32-year-old crewman who had suffered head injuries after he reportedly fell on the decker of the boat.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said luckily his fellow crewmen assisted him because NSRI arrived on the scene.

He said that the NSRI Launched the spirit of Freemasonry with Long Line approximately 18 nautical miles off shore in Saldanha Bay.

Lambinon added that on arrival on scene the patient was found to be in a stable condition he had already been bandaged by fellow crew members he was taken on-board onto sea craft and brought to shore in the care of paramedics.
