Police in Kwaggafontein have launched a manhunt for several suspects who murdered a provincial traffic officer and a taxi driver over the weekend.

Traffic Officer Johannes Soni Mahlangu was shot in the parking lot of his parents’ house in Vlaklaagte, and taxi driver Victor Ntuli was shot dead on the road to Pretoria and Marbie Hall.

Colonel Leonard Hlathi said while we were still in Kwaggafontein regarding this incident a passerby also reported at the same police station that a taxi driver was found lying on the ground on the road and his kombi was not parked far from him.

Hlati added that we are now looking for those perpetrators.

“If there is anyone with information is requested to contact Lieutenant Colonel Gladys Mahlangu at 082 462 0804.” Hlathi concluded.
