Cope concerned by Sapo’s troubles

The Congress of the People says what is happening at the South African Post Office is symptomatic of the disorder affecting state owned enterprises.

COPE said in a statement, the situation at SAPO is literally and figuratively hopeless.

COPE spokesperson Dennis Bloem says, those who broke away from the African National Congress to form COPE, knew very well what was in store for the country under the administration of Zuma.

He says the Zuma administration planted clueless cadres in state owned enterprises and is now reaping the whirlwind.

Bloem said Sapo has no money even to buy fuel. The Post Office vehicle cannot therefore collect mail from Post boxes.

“The Post office fleet is grounded, the credit cards are no longer functioning. We as the Cope are saying it is time for people the true colours of the ruling party” Bloem added.
