The Inkatha Freedom Party
calls for change in driver’s behaviour, after 141 people died over the past
weekend in 110 accidents across South Africa.
IFP’s KP Sithole said, human
error is in fact, the overwhelming cause of most of the carnage on the roads.
He added that by not
implementing effective driver behaviour management programmes, bad behaviour is
not identified properly, undesirable conducts are ignored and the same types of
accidents occur over and over again.
Sithole said “I don’t know how
are they issuing the licenses because most of the drivers that are on the road,
most of them are not properly trained to be on the road. He said this is a
concern that the IFP have now because most of the accident that are happening
is because of illegal issuing of licenses”. [Sync]
