A Westlake community leader is calling for justice following
the murder of a teenage girl.
Sixteen-year-old Franziska Blöchliger’s body was found early this week in Tokai forest.
Last night, close to a 1,000 people gathered at the forest to show their support for the girl’s family and to speak out against crime.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the teen’s killing and are expected to appear in court tomorrow.
Residents from Tokai and neighbouring communities gathered in Dennedal Road, some singing and others praying quietly.

Nkululeko Badini, one of the organisers who’s from the Westlake Community Foundation, said “the three suspects who've been arrested in connection with the murder are from Westlake.
Whoever has done this thing must be brought to books, that’s the feeling that we’re crying for as the community.”
