The mediation panel in Vuwani,
Limpopo says the area can only stabilise when all sectors of the society engage
with each other. This as provision of services as well as schooling and
business operations remain suspended in and around Vuwani.
Two weeks after schools in
Vuwani were supposed to reopen, teachers have still not returned to work out of
fear for their safety. The National Education Department says the majority of
pupils are also staying away from schools and are not writing mid-year exams.
Permanent solution can only be
found when various sectors of the community engage in productive talks and by
involving government through the process.
