Hundreds of supporters have started streaming into the Dan Qeqe stadium in Nelson Mandela Bay where President Jacob Zuma is due to speak.

More than 10 buses from Uitenhage, Zwide and Kwazakhele have so far dropped off supporters at the stadium.

Singing and dancing to keep warm, the supporters braved freezing weather and rain to listen to Zuma.

ANC supporters said they could not miss the opportunity to hear Zuma Speak.

ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa said on Thursday that they were expecting 40 000 supporters to flock to the Zwide stadium.
