Residents in Khayelitsha are bracing themselves for rain and strong wind as a cold front is currently hitting the mother city.

The Khayelitsha Developmental Forum says no flood warnings have been issued by the City of Cape Town Disaster Management.

Meanwhile about two weeks ago, around 6,000 people were affected by flooding in Khayelitsha and other areas.

The forum’s Ndithini Thyido says Khayelitsha is in a very sQad state of affairs.
