The Right2Know Campaign has taken its protest against censorship at the South African Broadcasting Corporation to Luthuli House where members are handing over a memorandum calling for the removal of COO Hlaudi Motsoeneng.

The Independent Communications of South Africa has ordered the public broadcaster to reverse its decision to ban destructive protest footage but Motsoeneng says no one can tell the SABC what to do.

Project coordinator at the Save Our SABC coalition Duduetsang Makuse says this picket is aimed at the African National Congress.

ANC Secretary General Gwede Mantashe and ANC Chief Whip Jackson Mthembu have agreed to meet representatives from the coalition this afternoon.
