The University of Cape Town’ Fees Must Fall student activists have vowed to continue protesting.

This comes after what they have concluded to be failed negotiations with vice chancellor Max Price.

Students are demanding to have Masixole Mlandu released from prison.

Mlandu, who’s facing various charges including a violation of an interdict and malicious damage to property, is in police custody.

Students have asked charges to be withdrawn and that Mlandu be released from prison.

Chaos erupted as Price was leaving after addressing students and police dispersed students with stun grenades.
