New Covid-19 cases in South Africa

1 245 new Covid-19 cases has been identified in SA in the last report. From Monday, the number of the detected Covid-19 cases is 752 269, Health Minister Zweli Mkhize said in a statement on Monday 16 November 2020..

He said, more than 73 Covid-19-related deaths have been reported 

Eastern Cape has 32,

Free State has 23,

Gauteng has 7

Western Cape has 11.

In total the number of covid-19 related death stands at 20 314.

From the 73 deaths, 15 reportedly occurred in the last 48 hours:

7 from Eastern Cape,

2 from Gauteng

6 from Western Cape.

Number of the recoveries stands at 695 496, which the recovery rates of 92.5%. The cumulative number of the tests conducted to data is 5142 948. With also 12 755 tests conducted since the last report.
