Wynberg Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are seeking the assistance of the public to trace a suspect who is wanted in connection with a rape case that occurred in the beginning of September 2023
The police’s Joseph Swartbooi said that preliminary investigation suggest the victim and the suspect spent time together that on Saturday, 2 September 2023, using alcohol and drugs.
Swartbooi said the duo left
for an address in Ottery Road, Wynberg, where he allegedly raped her.
‘’The suspect is believed to
be a medium built Malawian Foreign National. On the day of the incident he was
dressed in jeans , a T-shirt and a Denim jacket,’’ said Warrant Officer, Joseph
Swartbooi.
