Sub-council chairperson Angus McKenzie addresses gun violence on the Cape Flats after another man was shot in Bishop Lavis yesterday
The sub-council chairperson for Bishop Lavis and Bontheuwel, Angus McKenzie, said the continued gun violence in Cape Town was placing the lives of innocent people at risk.
McKenzie was commenting after a man was shot and wounded outside the Bishop Lavis clinic on Monday afternoon.
Police said the 35-year-old victim was shot in the chest and shoulders and ran inside the Bishop Lavis clinic. McKenzie has appealed to anyone who saw the drive-by shooters to contact the police.
