Eskom is continuing with efforts to restore electricity supply across the Western Cape after severe weather caused widespread damage to power infrastructure earlier this week.
Courtesy of: News24 Heavy rain and strong winds left many communities without electricity after power lines and other electrical equipment were damaged across several areas in the province. Eskom says technicians are working around the clock under difficult and dangerous conditions to repair the network and safely restore supply.
The utility has thanked affected residents for their patience and cooperation during the ongoing restoration process. Communities are also being urged to avoid damaged electrical infrastructure and report faults to Eskom immediately.
