Counselling for survivors of Bahrain boat disaster

Construction firm Murray and Roberts says it is sending trauma counsellors to Bahrain to assist those affected by the ferry disaster. Five South Africans were among the 57 people who drowned when a pleasure boat capsized on Thursday night. Four of the South Africans were employees of Murray and Roberts, and the fifth was the partner of an employee. The company’s CEO Brian Bruce told Eyewitness News plans are being made to repatriate the bodies. Foreign Affairs is assisting with the arrangements. The captain of the pleasure boat is being questioned, after it emerged he may not be licensed.
