Still no motive for Ken Kirsten's murder
Police are trying to establish a motive for the killing of celebrated television producer and director Ken Kirsten, who was shot at his Northcliff home in Johannesburg last night. West Rand police inspector Karen Jacobs says that 58-year-old Kirsten’s body was found in an adjacent garage at the complex where he lived. According to a friend, who was at Kirsten’s home at the time, he was shot late last night after returning from walking his dog. Nothing appeared to have been robbed from Kirsten during the shooting. Members of the West Rand Serious and Violent Crime Unit are investigating the case.
