Plettenberg Bay residents arrested
More than 50 Plettenberg Bay residents have been arrested since a wave of violence against foreign nationals which lead to the death of at least one man erupted in informal settlements. The Cape Times reports that on Saturday, a 58-year-old man from Qolweni informal settlement was arrested in connection with the death of a man, believed to be a foreign national. Police say on Friday, a group of residents with sticks marched through KwaNokuthula, apparently looking for foreigners.
