SA Labour Minister on the ongoing security strike
Labour Minister Membathisi Mdladlana says the unsuccessful Labour Appeal Court bid to have the ongoing strike declared illegal by security industry employers, is a reminder to both parties of how crucial negotiations are. Minister Mdladlana said both parties had it within their powers to take the opportunity to end the violent strike. Mdladlana added that the time had come for employers to swallow their pride and return to the negotiating table. He said he hoped the court decision would make them realize that the only way of resolving this dispute is through negotiations.
