Lawyers for the Sonke Gender Justice Advocacy Group say they will prove to the Equality Court that African National Youth League president Julius Malema violated the Equality Act.

The court is currently hearing a complaint laid against Malema for comments he made about President Jacob Zuma’s rape accuser.

The youth league leader told students at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology Bellville Campus that the woman had enjoyed sex with Zuma because she stayed over and asked him for taxi money to go home the morning after.
