Notorious Annanias Mathe has been found guilty of 64 of the 71 charges he was facing in the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.
Describing Mathe’s behaviour as "vicious and abnormal", Judge Geraldine Borchers found the Mozambican national of, among others, rape, attempted rape and attempted murder.
The case has been postponed for a week to allow for a psychological report in alleviation of sentencing.
