Two suspects will appear in court later today in connection with a murder that happened on Saturday, May 30.

SASPS spokesperson Inspector IG Williams says that the two suspects were arguing on an open field with one of the victim’s friends, when the deceased confronted the two of them during the argument and he was smacked through the face and stabbed several times in the stomach.

“He was taken to the day-hospital after the incident and treated for stab wounds. The victim allegedly died two days later and a case of murder is now being investigated by the Mitchell’s Plain detectives,” said Williams

At the time of their arrest the suspects had in their possession a firearm and a knife, which according to police will be sent to the lab for testing.
