The City of Cape Town’s Social Development Department
celebrated International Children’s Day at the Belhar Indoor Sports
Complex yesterday and focused on child safety.
Staff from the Sport, Recreation and Amenities Department, Emergency Services, Traffic Services and SANCA also participated.
The target audience is parents and children from Bellville South, Belhar, Ravensmead, Uitsig and Elsies River.
Andile Wotshela, Social Development Facilitator from City of Cape Town said this event was part and parcel of a Social development programme to enlighten children’s rights and working closely with local community.
