President Jacob Zuma’s spokesperson has moved to clear up confusion about Shabir Shaik’s presidential pardon application.

Vincent Magwenya says Zuma did not deny in a television interview that his convicted former financial adviser had applied for the pardon.

He just said that he had not seen the document.

Magwenya says Zuma has over 300 applications before him and the President has not seen any of them.
