Nursing union Denosa has expressed shock at what it calls the “inhumane conditions” under which workers at Port Elizabeth’s Korsten Clinic work.
Denosa says the temporary structure has no ventilation in the corridors.
Its been alleged that the waiting room, consulting rooms and in the baby consulting rooms are unbearable.
The union says the working conditions are dangerous and contravene the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Action plans to be taken by the union.
