The price of all grades of petrol goes up by 54-cents a litre next Wednesday, with diesel going up by 69-point-four-cents a litre.
The Energy Department made the announcement this afternoon, pushing the price of petrol up to just a touch under 10-Rand a litre in Gauteng.
Motorists have been warned to expect a series of fuel increases in the coming months, with political tension in North Africa and the Middle East pushing up international oil prices.
