Reports are streaming in from petrol stations countrywide that say they have already run out of fuel as motorists queue to beat tonight’s huge hikes in petrol and diesel.
The price of diesel will go up by 70 cents a litre and petrol by 54-cents.
Motorists have been queuing since before the morning rush hour to fill their tanks.
This will be the seventh consecutive monthly increase in the price of fuel since the oil price began shooting through the roof.
Analysts are already saying that yet another increase can be expected next month.
