More than 150 parks are being upgrading across Cape Town.
The City of Cape Town yesterday said it is working on a safety plan for recreational areas.
City Parks Director Chantal Hanslo said they are working on keeping these areas safe, but the community needs to play its part.
The parks will be upgraded with trees, lights, security fences and new
playground facilities.
