The Independent Electoral Commission on Wednesday was in the process of drawing up the voters roll for special votes to be cast on May 16 and 17.
Special votes are to allow people such as police officers, electoral staff, members of the media and political party members, who will represent their parties at voting stations on Election Day, to vote earlier.
The deadline for applications was Tuesday.
The IEC has stated that it will take several days to draw up the final list.
