Independent Complaints Directorate head, Francois Beukman has played down recent reports of police brutality.
This after the deaths of Free State protester, Andries Tatane, and Kempton Park housewife, Jeanette Odendaal, both at the hands of police.
Beukman told a news conference in Parliament that incidents of police brutality are getting more media attention.
He says however that that this does not mean they are on the increase.
