Transport Minister S’bu Ndebele has called on South Africans to take responsibility for their own safety on the roads.

The Minister was speaking ahead of the launch of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety next Wednesday.

He added that the country could not afford for the carnage to continue.

Transport departments Logan Maistry says we need to act now in order to curb deaths on the road.
