ANC chairperson Baleka Mbete has slammed as “unacceptable” the fact that ANC Youth League spokesperson Floyd Shivambu swore at a journalist who requested an interview with Julius Malema.
At a media briefing at Luthuli House in Johannesburg, Mbete says no one speaking on behalf of the ANC should use swear words to get their point across.
This follows Shivambu’s repeated use of the f-word in dismissing a Beeld journalist’s request.
It is not yet clear whether the ANC plans to censure Shivambu.
