An accident near Sasolburg in the Free State claimed the lives of a man and a woman this morning.
ER24 spokesperson Andre Visser says the victims died when two vehicles collided on the Heilbron Road some 20 kilometres from Sasolburg.
The male driver of one of the vehicles died on impact as did a woman in the other vehicle.
A second woman was seriously injured and rushed to hospital.
And in another fatal accident, a motorcyclist lost control of his bike and smashed into a pole in De Bruyn Avenue in Universitas in Bloemfontein this morning.
