Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa says the demarcation of police stations is being reviewed to make it easier for people to report crimes.
Speaking in Boksburg in the East Rand, Mthethwa said the barriers in terms of reporting crime should be broken, so that people are not told that they cannot report crime at a particular police station.
The Minister wants to see police stations built particularly in areas which were previously disadvantaged.
