R50k reward offered for person of interest w.r.t. murder of Gugulethu CPF member

Police has made a breakthrough regarding the murder of Deputy Chairperson of the Gugulethu Community Police Forum (CPF), Lulama Dinginto

The police’s Joseph Swartbooi said 35-year-old Lugile Anthony Madolo, also known as Fire, has been identified as a person of interest and detectives would like to question him in connection with the incident.

Dinginto’s body was found in the bathroom of her NY 110 home with multiple gunshot wounds in the early hours of Sunday. The motive for the attack is unknown

‘’A reward of R50 000 is offered for any information that will assist to apprehend those responsible for the murder of Dinginto. Crime Stop can be contacted on 08600 10111 or the mobile application My SAPS can be used,’’ said Warrant Officer Joseph Swartbooi

‘’We appeal to anyone who can shed light to establish contact with the investigating Officer Detective Col Eddie Clark on 082 469 1531 or alternatively call Crime Stop on 08600 10111,’’ he added.
