Two men were killed in Elsies River, on Wednesday morning.
It is believed that they were shot inside a minibus taxi in
Owen Road.

possibility that the incident may be gang related will be investigated
‘’ Elsies River police are investigating two counts of
murder… which claimed the lives of two males aged 25 and 39. Police members
were called to the crime scene where they found the victims with gunshot wounds
to their bodies. The victims were declared deceased on the scene by medical
personnel. The possibility that the incident might be gang related will be
investigated,’’ said Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
Twigg added that the unknown suspects fled the scene and
are yet to be arrested.
