Police in Khayelitsha are investigating a double murder and an attempted murder after two men were fatally shot in Kuyasa on Tuesday afternoon.

at about 13:30 in Mkhombe Street, Kuyasa, Khayelitsha, where two men aged 25
and 34 were shot and fatally wounded and a 35 year old man was left wounded.
‘’Police members attended to a complaint of a shooting and
upon arrival on the scene they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their
bodies. The 25 and 34 year old victims were declared deceased on the scene by
medical personnel, while the other victim was taken to a medical facility for
medical treatment. The motive for the attack forms part of the police
investigation and arrests are yet to be made,’’ said Sergeant Wesley Twigg,
Western Cape police spokesperson.
