Delft police are investigating the murder of a 32-year-old CATA official who was gunned down on the R300 on Monday morning.



Delft police are investigating the murder of a 32-year-old CATA official who was gunned down on the R300 on Monday morning.

According to reports the victim and his bodyguards were attacked and shot multiple times. The victim died on the scene and the two bodyguards were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg says “The motive for the attack forms part of the police investigation. The suspect/s fled the scene and are yet to be arrested.
