Bellville-South police are looking for armed robbers

Police are investigating a case of armed robbery and request the public’s assistance with any information that might lead to the arrest of the suspects. This comes after three Coin Security Officers were robbed of a cash bag in front of a liquor store in Crawford at about eleven in the morning on Monday the 10th. The security officers were allegedly approached by a group of six to eight unknown armed men, who threatened and robbed them an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint. Police spokesperson Elliot Sinyangana says the suspects fled the scene in three different vehicles and are still at large.
