North West traffic officers arrested
Four North West traffic officers have been arrested for the fraudulent issuing of drivers and learners licences. Moagiemang Moopelwa, William Segone and Moshe Senwamadi were arrested at the Mabopane Driver and Learner Testing Centre. A fourth officer, Albert Bokaba, was arrested at the Brits testing centre. Transport department spokesperson Matshube Mfoloe says three other traffic officers have been suspended from duty on the same charges. The arrests followed months of investigation. Moopelwa, Segone, Senwamadi and Bokaba were granted bail of 500-rand each after appearing in the Garankuwa magistrate's court. Their next appearance is on May the 22nd.
