A testimonial match for Corné Krige
Former Springbok captain Corné Krige will lead his beloved Western Province one last time when he leads a Vodacom WP Corné Krige Fifteen into battle against a star studded World Fifteen at Newlands on June the ninth. Western Province Rugby has confirmed that the additional match will be a testimonial for Krige, who represented the province from primary school level right through all the different age-groups. Supersport reports that the World Fifteen, who also tackle the Springboks in Johannesburg on June the third, will be made up of high profile internationals such as Carlos Spencer, Justin Marshall, Olivier Magne, Thomas Castaignede and Joe Roff.
