Bodies found in SA plane wreckage
Rescuers have found three bodies in the wreckage of a South African registered plane that crashed in Uganda last week. World Food Programme spokesperson Stephanie Savariaud is quoted as saying the wreckage of the WFP-chartered single-engine aircraft has been identified high up in Uganda's Ruwenzori Mountains. On board the plane were the South African pilot, his wife, and the co-pilot, who was a dual French and Canadian citizen. Reports states that an investigation has been set up to determine the cause of the crash. The department of foreign affairs is making arrangements for the bodies of the two South Africans to be flown to the country. Their names are still being withheld.
