The Crusaders crash the Bulls
The Crusaders almost certainly ended the Bulls’ semifinal hopes in the Vodacom Super 14 by beating them 35-17 at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria last night. The team from New Zealand earned a bonus point by scoring four tries. This took them back to the top of the log and assured of finishing in the top four. The result also favours fourth-placed Brumbies ahead of their match today against the Highlanders in Canberra, leaving them four points clear of the Bulls with a game in hand.
