Man hands live ammunition to Tutu

A convicted criminal gave Archbishop Desmond Tutu three rounds of ammunition just after Tutu delivered a speech at the St Mark’s Cathedral in Seattle. Fifty-eight-year-old Joseph LaTour appeared to have a short conversation with Tutu before handing over the point-45 rounds. Tutu gave the ammunition to another person before calmly going on his way. The American media reports that Tutu could not be reached for comment after the incident. LaTour was arrested on the scene after police found a loaded pistol, an extra magazine and a knife hidden in his clothing.
