A 28 year-old man has been shot and wounded in the leg in St Lucia Court, Hanover Park this morning. The man was with his girlfriend when three unknown men approached them and wounded him in the leg. The suspects fled the scene and the man was rushed to hospital. Police spokesperson Captain Elliot Sinyangana says that the motive for the attack is not known. A charge of attempted murder is being investigated. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philippi police branch, or call crime-stop on 08600-10111.
