Talks about security strike resume on Monday
Transport union, Satawu says it will be difficult to reconcile its differences with several other unions not taking part in the security guard strike. Last month, 14 smaller unions signed an eight percent wage deal with security bosses. But Satawu and one other union rejected the agreement and have stuck to their demand for 11 percent. Eyewitness News reports that this has led to divisions among the labour groups. Talks between unions and employers to resolve the ongoing strike were postponed in Johannesburg on Friday and will continue on Monday.
