Vehicle-recovery company begins nationwide investigation
Tracker, one of South Africa's leading vehicle-recovery companies has begun a nationwide investigation into allegations that some of its employees may be helping syndicates to steal cars fitted with tracking devices. The Star reports that an unnamed man claimed that syndicates bribed him to hand over highly classified information allowing the syndicate to steal cars by breaking into them and taking out the tracking device within five minutes. Gareth Crocker a company spokesperson said they were leaving no stone unturned in investigating the allegations.
