Zuma’s accuser speaks out
Jacob Zuma’s accuser has spoken out for the first time about the case in an interview with representatives of the One-in-Nine campaign. Members of the rape activist group supported her during the trial and protested outside the Johannesburg High Court every day. She says she is angry about Zuma’s acquittal but did not speak out during the trial as she did not want to become part of the games played out in the media. She says if she had to do it all over again she would, as it is a sacrifice women have to keep making to force changes in the way they are treated.
